VGN FE11S Java Runtime Black Screen

I have a VAIO VGN FE11S.
I have the problem that my screen goes black every time a java aplication stats. I can only see the mose on the black screen. The system is ok it is working but only the screen stays black.

I found out that JAVA is causing this prolem. So i have turnd of the hardware acceleration and then i can start JAVA applications again.

How can i run Java with hardware acceleration?

I tried all the tips but there is no change. It does not work.
It would be very nice if someone from the sony support team could do a reaction on that thread because it is a really critical Error!
A brand new notebook which can not run Java Applications!!!

it seems to be a sony problem, otherwise the java programs wouldnt run on all other systems...of course it has to do with the display drivers ...or the GC.:smileylove:

Anyway I involved the sony support now!

OK, after I did a lot of investigation, i found a workaround for that problem.
It is of course a problem of the Sony Graphic Driver togheter with a problem with directdraw and java.

After disabling direct draw functionality, java is working.
Workaround:
goto display options-->Problem..handling--> put the slider to the left side.
Now games wouldnt work, but java does.
