How to reinstall Vaio Entertainment without Viao Zone

Hello, Ive deleated only Viao Entertainment not Vaio Zone in cause of an FZFW.exe error. So now I want to reinstall only Vaio Entertainment. Ive got an VGN4M/S with Recovery Partition, Recovery DVDs and Support Files included, but I dont want o make a whole Recovery for Drive C.

Have you tried the re-install individual application option? Have a look here.

Thanks, Ive just tried it and reinstalled Viao Zone Installer 1 (beside there is another Vaio Zone Installer 2 too) and now Vaio Entertainment works again. But unfortunetly the old VzFw.exe - error appears again. "VzFw.exe has detected a problem and has to be terminated." How can I repair this?

There have been a number of posts on this forum reporting CPU usage problems with VzFw.exe, but I don’t recall seeing any solution (not that there isn’t one of course).

I would first check that this file has not been taken over by malware. Have a look here.

Also check for any hotfixes/updates for your model on Vaio-Link.

As a last resort maybe a call to support may throw some light on the problem.
