Hi
I am a fan of SONY and I know that most mobile phones of sony has usb host (otg) functionality
I am waiting for the M4 aqua dual (LTE) to be my next phone. but i have a question. is this phone has otg support?
in the backup and restore section of the manual of the M4 Aqua has written that :
"With this application you can back up the following types of data to an SD card or to an external USB storage device that you have connected by the USB Host adapter to your device"
but if you watch this video, it says that it has not otg functionality

so, is this phone support otg or not? please explain completely.
if you have a retail one, can you test it and let me know?
thank you

In my knowledge USB host is a feature with kernal. So it can be fixed by a software update
No. because of hardware limit
It is a software tools of andoind M but because of hardware limit it does'nt work in M4 aqua. so Sony should remove this from M4
My M4 Aqua E2353 came packaged with a Sony EC310 OTG cable here in Australia. How bizarre. The phone has a Quallcomm Snapdragon 615 System on a Chip which is in other phones which support OTG. Is OTG support hardware not built into the System on a Chip (SoC)?
Does m4 aqua supports otg?
