M4 Aqua OTG (USB Host) Functionality

Hi

I am a fan of SONY and I know that most mobile phones of sony has usb host (otg) functionality

I am waiting for the M4 aqua dual (LTE) to be my next phone. but i have  a question. is this phone has otg support?

in the backup and restore section of the manual of the M4 Aqua has written that :
"With this application you can back up the following types of data to an SD card or to an external USB storage device that you have connected by the USB Host adapter to your device"

but if you watch this video, it says that it has not otg functionality

so, is this phone support otg or not? please explain completely.

if you have a retail one, can you test it and let me know?

It doesnt support OTG. Confirmed. refer attatchment.

Amigo i have sony m4 aqua but the e2303 model. As you probably know there are 2 more and for them i can not say a lot but for mine e2303 ive tried already and its not happening nothing. I have SandDisk ultra duo 32 gb stick

I've just plugged an USB key on my Xperia Aqua dual, I can confirm that OTG is not supported. If someone has a workaround... (no settings available in the USB connectivity menu except on about installing a software for managing content of the phone from a computer... not working)

No, OTG support is not added in M4 Aqua.

hello everybody

i have updated my xperia m4 aqua dual smart phone to marshmallow, though the detect connected usb device added to notification area but when i connected usb via otg cable, nothing happened. so this is a fact that m4 aqua doesnot support otg even after updating to android 6.0.1
