M4 Aqua OTG (USB Host) Functionality

Hi

I am a fan of SONY and I know that most mobile phones of sony has usb host (otg) functionality

I am waiting for the M4 aqua dual (LTE) to be my next phone. but i have  a question. is this phone has otg support?

in the backup and restore section of the manual of the M4 Aqua has written that :
"With this application you can back up the following types of data to an SD card or to an external USB storage device that you have connected by the USB Host adapter to your device"

but if you watch this video, it says that it has not otg functionality

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tEENBT0U5Y

so, is this phone support otg or not? please explain completely.

if you have a retail one, can you test it and let me know?

thank you

I was waiting for this device since March 2015.

Dual SIM is available in India. I checked up with a retail unit & NO.... it does not support OTG.

I am disappointed. Sony's white paper lists USB Mass Storage but NO, it does not support OTG.

"Thank you for contacting Sony Xperia™ Online Support.

We appreciate your interest and enthusiasm regarding our Xperia™ devices, we are glad to assist you. In regards to your inquiry, our devices are equipped to support USB on the go as long as you have the USB on the go Cable. "

this is what the SONY Support replied to me when I asked a question of otg functionality

so don't just say has not otg. explain how did you test it?  if you can, upload a video
thanks in advance

I saw these videos where it's showed that it doesn't support OTG

It will be possible that supports OTG with an OS update??

as I can confirm from most reviews, there is no otg support in this phone by now.

hence, i have another question,

as all of new xperia phones support otg, is it possible that it will be supported by a software update and problem will be fixed ?
