I am a fan of SONY and I know that most mobile phones of sony has usb host (otg) functionality

I am waiting for the M4 aqua dual (LTE) to be my next phone. but i have a question. is this phone has otg support?

in the backup and restore section of the manual of the M4 Aqua has written that :
"With this application you can back up the following types of data to an SD card or to an external USB storage device that you have connected by the USB Host adapter to your device"

but if you watch this video, it says that it has not otg functionality

so, is this phone support otg or not? please explain completely.

when will the m4 get otg support? I'm a bit of a sony smart phone fanboy (had 3 sony phones in four years) and was a bit disappointed to find the m4 didn't have it.

I've look for many apps of otg drivers, however, none of them could be applied in m4.

Hi... I'm user of a M4 aqua, & i can confirm, It has no otg support. Sony please, if you can see this, fix that With a ota update or something please.

I think it is impossible to support OTG on M4 aqua, due to it's water proof, if support OTG the USB connector will need to output power, if M4 aqua is in water, this will damage this phone.

almost all new devices that are made during 2014 has otg functionality... even devices that are lame and mot worth mentioning has OTG support. please fix this SONy!!!
