Windows 7 display driver a problem on Vaio laptop, do any members know when Sony will offer support with Windows 7

Have a Vaio VGN-BZ11XN, recently changed to Windows 7, PnP display driver works but have issues with distortion of the display unless 16 bit colour is selected, which then caused problems with graphics on some applications. When will Sony offer a dedicated Windows 7 display driver? Does anyone have a solution?

Have you tried getting the latest Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics driver for Windows 7 direct from the Intel download website?
