Hello,

I can't find the drivers for the notebook Sony Vaio

PCG-8Z2M.

Acutally, at this time I need the webcam driver and software.

Any advice where I could find it?

Hi and welcome,

The reason that you can’t find drivers is that you are quoting a chassis number and not the model. Have a look on the bottom right hand side of the screen surround for the model number which will probably be VGN-AR51 and then have a look here:

PCG-8Z2M is not a valid model type.  It is the chassis model which can be shared with several Vaio Models - so you will not find any reference to it in the support pages.  Have a look on the screen surround and you will see the correct model - it will be something like VGN-AR51J.

You can also find the model in Control Panel -> Vaio Control Centre.  When you have the correct model, you can lookup the drivers here: -

There's nothing on the screen which should identify the notebook but I've found it using the 15 character serial number.
