laptop gets red hot

i'm getting worried about my laptop
its a vgn-fz11s

when its on it gets really hot. the under side of it gets so
hot i cant even hold it. surely that isnt right???

the battery is also very hot. i know this happens when
they are in use its just that the i'm thinking maybe they are too hot.

seriously i cant hold the battery or the laptop because of how hot they get.

(as an example it feels like i'm holding a cup of tea its that hot. !!!)

i know i should get a cooling fan under it, i am planning to buy one soon
as i can but does anyone else's lappie get this bad.

Your notebook should not be so hot that you cannot touch it.

Have you checked the vents aren't clogged with dust etc?
(If so give them a blow with a can of compressed air)

Also when you use it is it obstrcuted underneath or at the back by the vents?

the vents are not blocked and there doesnt seem to be any
dust on it or anything.

strange huh.

i hope its not on its way out, its isnt old or anything.
