Internet Problems

Hi everybody, I need serious help with my problem.
My Sony Vaio Notebook (VGN NRG11 M/S) is unable to go on the internet. Everything looks alright, like it shows that it's connected to the internet but when i actually do go on the internet the page doesn't load up. I tried everything on it, resetting the internet, restarting the notebook and doing a full system scan but still it won't work.

Depends on which kind of Internet connection you are using...

Wireless connection: You need to check if the drivers are correctly installed.
Broadband: Could you re-install the software from your internet provider again ?. Looks like that the internet configuration was not properly done.

These are the first steps to see what is going on...

I'm using a wireless connection with the wireless adaptor already built inside the notebook, what should i do?

Do you see the Internet Wireless Led blinking ? I mean could you check if the wireless is correctly installed ?

What firewall are you using and have you tried turning it off?

I'm using the one that comes with the notebook, i tried turning it off but it still won't work

Can you try to use your computer in another place, just to test the internet connection...

Maybe in your office, just to have sure about the internet connection... and also with different browser's...
