PCV-RS404 - missing USB2.0 functionality

Hello There,

Many moons since I have been on here. Looks like someone broke the Search function so forgive me if this is a common problem. Got lots of toys for Xmas including an ipod and a Satnav (help me look for the ipod if I misplace it). Anyhoo, I get a pop up saying the devices would work better if I connected them to a faster USB port (or some such statement). Wait a mo, this Vaio has USB2.0, I thought. After googling the issue I note that I have no enhanced drivers listed in the device manager. Any thoughts guys?

Hi, would you please make me a big favor doing a driver backup of your pcv-rs404 ...??
if yes send them to [email protected] it would be appreciated because i've lost my recovery cd, and i cant find place where the audio driver is working,

i think its this one ac'97 soundmax AD1981B ICH5 controller
