well i have not had the chance really to buy many since my tv went back for exchange a while back but Resident Evil Afterlife is great fun to watch in 3D. Piranha 3D is a typical bloke movie and best watched after a few cans (first one i bought actually!)

Avatar will come out of the exclusive Panasonic deal in Feb so that will be pretty immense - all shot using Sony Professional Hardware and mastered by our specialists in Culver City.

I saw Tintin at the weekend and thats definitely one to look out for. Good to see 3D experiences maturing and being used to great effect..

cheers

Avatar 3D wont be available for general release for a good while yet, but Panasonic have had exclusive rights to distribute copies with their 3D tv package deals since the beginning of the year.

this is also highly sought after by collectors and many have been "sold off" for a premium price on E-Bay.

For what its worth, we have watched Tangled (very funny family film, dont be put off that it looks girly) and think it gives the best 3D out of a four-pack that we bundled with the set & 2 extra glasses. Also watched Tron, Narnia & Green Hornet. Tron had limited actual 3d display - the female lead added value for the blokes though. Narnia & Green Hornet both amusing and some good 3D effects.
