Front camera is not working.

I recently bought the Xperia m4 aqua dual as I was pretty impressed by its stats on paper but there are a few issues that have to be solved. Firstly I cant use my front camera. There is no icon for the front camera even in the camera application and also in other apps like retrica. I tried clearing the data but it wasnt effective enough. It would be really helpful if you could Solve this as soon as possible.

I need help fast! Why does the front camera when taking a picture is a bit dark eventhough the room is very bright. I've tried different angle but its just not bright compare to other phones.. Pleasee help

I just want to share what I have been (suspecting) on why this camera issue is very common specially with m4 ..

I just noticed that my m4 aqua gets hot so easy when I play a game app for some minutes or even when im just browsing facebook or the browser. It basically heats up so darn fast,..don't you think the fact that it has its battery built-in is something? Of course when it gets hot, the whole device is hot,,.so the camera's internal setting and hardware gets fuzzy and in some time, won't work at all.. Just thought of this,..im not really that tech savvy but i had some basic knowledge..what do you think? Sony??

Hi I have a sony xperia XA ultra and my front camera is not working on any app. The icon for switching between cameras is not there. I had this phone for 2 months and it had issues with the front camera since i got it. i had 2 other sony phones and this never happened on any of them. I tried repairing the system with computer companion and switching it on in safe mode and none of it worked. can someone please help me.

If a software repair didn't help it seems your device is in need of repair. You can contact your Local support team for information on where you can find an authorised service center in your area and how to proceed with this.

If you still experience that the front camera on your device doesn't work I recommend that you get it examined by an authorised service center. You can contact your Local support team if you need more information such as where you can find one.

Sir i have recently got my charging point changed that had already caused me a huge problem and now after the problem of charging point changed now its front camera icon is not appearing on screen . I am fed up of brand sony within a year and already these many issues . Other companies were offering better features but we still chose sony because it has a brand reputation and trusted by its customers . I am here not only to solve issues with this sony xperia m4 . I hope to see from you soon with solution to my problem
