Hi @JohnR3
I’m sorry that people keep asking you for the missing character after you had already provided it a week ago!! It is KD-43XG8305 The missing character is “G” which stands for the year 2019. The BU doesn’t matter, it stands for Black UK.
From your model Web Manual https://helpguide.sony.net/tv/gaep1/v1/en/08-05_05.html
Hi LightFoot,
Thank you for that information, very interesting.
Having had the model number issue resolved all I need now is a solution to my ver weak Sony Bluetooth issue.
Regards
JohnR3
Yes I did, thanks for sending it. Using Headphone vol + or - gives me the numbers I quoted originally so it does not give me the headphone sound level I require. So why is the bluetooth volume so low compared to a direct connection to the headphone socket? This huge difference in sound levels maybe a Sony normal I don't know.
I think this is normal because its a different signal BT or headphone socket, maybe there is some loss over BT.
I don't have an issue with listening to my Sony headphones connected via Bluetooth to my iPhone or MacBook, it's only with the Sony tv. I can accept that there may be differences but not the big difference I am experiencing when trying to listen to my Sony tv with my Sony headphones.
@JohnR3 Contact sony support to see if they refer you to a service center to inspect your TV or they can escalate it.
OK, thanks for your suggestion. The tv is still under retailer service agreement so I'll try that option first.
