I have an x900h and a tcl ts8011 sound bar connect to arc. Sometimes I have no problem, but most of the time the TV does not recognize the sound bar and it switches between tv audio and sound at audio every 2 seconds until I turn them both off. I need a solution to this.

Here's what I'd check:

-Have you tried a different cable?
-Try switching eARC off on the TV.
-Turn Bravia Sync off on the TV, and Control for HDMI on the Sound bar, power cycle the two devices, then re-enable them.

I have tried all of these, no luck.
What about a factory reset?
I think I will have to return it. I did a factory reset, more than once.
Maybe try switching the HDMI signal back and forth between Standard and Enhanced and see if that solves it? (Settings - Watching TV - External Inputs - HDMI signal format)
I have this too with lg soundbar . The only tric is to go to tv audio system and change manually to audio . Then the soundbar sound stays

Today, Sony support notified me that an update will be very shortly released in order to fix the sound issues !!
