Anyone have any HDMI sync problems? Have a 65” XH90 connected to a BT UHD box. All was fine.
However the last week sound (only use TV speakers) now crackles/distorts, and goes out of sync.
Switching inputs, switching TV off/on, gets it back in sync. This happens for recorded programs and live TV via the BT box.
However using the TV apps, Prime, Netflix etc everything is ok.
So tried a new HDMI lead, and different HDMI port and the same result.
So I presumed it was the BT box, however just received a new BT box and it’s the same....
So is the TV broke? Why are apps ok, only the HDMI sockets broke?
Anyone anymore help please
Thanks
Check out the Samsung forums before you buy, there are some image issues in some situations. It put me off going for the Samsung 🎃
Mines been fine for two weeks now, no sync issues, no audio problems I was experiencing before deleting the tunein app, however on maybe three occasions this week I've had a sudden buzzing from the audio which lasts about 5-10 seconds, the TV then switches off and reboots and everything is fine, this does not bother me although it shouldn't be happening.
I had that happen a couple of times on my third hx90. So far my forth one seems to be behaving itself.
I have a slight delay on Xbox one x audio wether in game mode or not. Very slight but sounds like an echo.. I have the latest 4k120 update installed.
Have you tried uninstalling the TuneIn Radio app? If so, have you tried clearing the cached data (Device Preferences - Storage - Internal Shared Storage - Cached data) and then soft reset the TV (Holding power button for ~5 seconds)?
Hi there
The sound distortion has completely gone, and yes it was the Tune In App.
Its odd, because although that app was preinstalled on the TV, I had never actually used it.
After uninstalling it and restarting the TV the sound has been restored.
Hopefully we will find out when we are getting the VRR update. I am already updated to HDMI 2.1.
Although cant get a PS5 for toffee at the moment.
Many thanks
Matt
