WiFi Calling for T-Mobile
If Chinese companies like Oneplus can enable the feature why can't a huge company like Sony do it?
Im going to likely return the handset if WiFi calling doesn't come to this phone in the next 2 weeks.

Since the phone it's unlocked it can't be done, for this to work T-mobile has to customize the update and enable this, not Sony.

Well, I'm not quite sure about that because according to T-Mobile engineers, Sony has refused to work with them on getting it to work.
It can't be because it's simply unlocked, because many other phones that ONLY come unlocked have WiFi calling (eg. Oneplus one, 2 and 3)
Sony has dropped the ball here and their software engineers really need to get this feature working.

1. When dialing a number, there is a 20 to 30 second delay before connection and a ring, even with full signal.
2. Many sound problems
3. Screen brightness is super high, and the lowest setting is bothersome to the eyes.
4. Camera delay in focusing and taking an image.
5. No WiFi calling enabled for T-Mobile or AT&T
6. Headphones not recognized when plugged in (tried multiple)
Many, many more issues. If an update doesn't fix the problems in the next 2 weeks, I'm returning this 3rd until back to Amazon.com. First Sony phone and my last.

As you can see above, it's on T-mobile to work with Sony, they, T-mobile, will have to enable this feature, but if you want to think otherwise you can, but the facts are there, you can also check the XDA Forum.
