Htx8500 soundbar

Hi I've just got a htx8500 soundbar just some questions when the soundbar is playing dolby atmos through the soundbar should the atmos white light be permanently lit? Only have the virtical and TV lights lit. The bar is connected via a hdmi to the TV on the earc port.

For some reason the dolby setting on my TV only comes on when the soundbar is off?? Not sure if I've connected it right or if I need a hdmi lead from my sky q box to the soundbar aswell? Any help please

Hi thanks for the message

I've managed to sort out the problem now.

I had to dig deep in to my LG TV settings and find the earc on button and pass through setting.

All seems fine now the dolby light comes on when playing a atmos enabled film.

Based on the guide ''Atmos, lights while the Dolby Atmos format is playing and the virtual
surround processing is activated'' in page 8
So I think you should read the manual a bit and try to set it up once more.

Ah good to know! Sometimes it's that one setting that can ruin your whole experience, but glad to know that you found it XD.
Maybe flag your response as answer so that it can be found easily if others facing the same issue, cheers.
