Last night I closed the lid of my laptop putting it into sleep/hibernate (I'm not sure which is which, lol.) it was also not plugged in.

This morning I opened my laptop and pressed the power button once, as per usual to resume use.

I've got no screen activity, no HDD sounds or light, the ODD won't even eject, however I have a power light on. Pressing the power button lights the battery light up - but still no joy. Can't seem to power off either, holding down the power button just keeps the battery light on while it's held in.

Tried disconnecting the battery and running just from external power, no result. Left the battery out for a half an hour then reinserting - no change. Reseated the RAM - no change.

Any help would be much appreciated.
