Hi all. This morning, my mother was unable to log on to her Vaio VPCEB1E0E yet, after she entered her password, it gave her the message 'user profile failed to load'. I then tried a variety of ways to try and access her account (by using the regedit method as well as trying to activate the hidden admin account) but was unsuccessful, as I was working on a standard, non admin account. Is there any way of fixing the corrupted admin account from a standard user account?ao

Not sure if you have seen this,
its Microsoft's help page for dealing with this problem.
I know you've tried a couple of things but have you tried restarting the pc in
safe mode? When doing so it should use the default admin account automatically
which should enable you to try the regedit again or some other possible solutions on that Microsoft page.
