Weird sound issue on Vaio VGN CR11S

Hey!
I'm hoping someone can help.

My sound has gone all weird on me 

I have the little jingle when I start up but then that's it. If I use media player, youtube etc it's like it's on mute only it isn't.

I've been into the control panel and looking at the speakers the bar is moving to indicate sound, it's not on mute  but no sound??

Can anyone help at all please?

Hi Thirsty76 on the right of your taskbar right click on the speaker icon and then click on playback devices. Right click on the default device then select test, do you hear any sound?

If no then in the same window try disabling and then enabling your defualt speakers.

If still no sound then try reinstalling the audio drivers you should be able to download the latest drivers from your Vaio models support page.
