I am creating a web camera application in Flash as3.
Unfortunately, the vaio motion eye doesnt not turn on or activated when the code is run. The code runs fine on another machine with using a external logitech web camera producing a real-time image.
Normally, when the code is run, a flash security box appears giving access to the web camera. Once accepted, the web camera driver is loaded and run (in the case of the logitech web camera is own quickCam software). On my Vaio laptop the Camera Utility software doesnt load. Curiously, if the Vaio Camera Utility is loaded separately (flash isnt used), the motion eye web camera is activated producing an image in its own software.
If anyone can help that would be great. Guessing it is a problem with how the Vaio Camera Utility is launched.
