Capture Button Not Working - CR31S/L ???

Hi everyone

The capture button on my sony laptop - cr31s/l is not working. Can someone tell me what the botton should do when pressed. I have been into the sony camera capture utility, and pressed the capture button located to the top of the notebook, but it does not take a picture.

the Capture Button should launch the Vaio capture utility..

Do you get any error messages.?

Does the Vaio capture utility run if you launch it via Start > All programs.?

Yes, the vaio capture utility does start when i load it via all programs. No, no error messages appear on screen. All the other buttons work, its only the CAPTURE button that dosn't work.

any help would be great, or is it going to be a call to sony?????
