Your model uses native Windows drivers for the camera and should have been installed automatically.
Which software are you using to test the camera?
What is showing in Device Manager under Imaging Devices - are the any error messages or unknown devices listed anywhere?
Assuming that you have not deleted the hidden recovery partition you still have the option of returning the notebook to factory settings by tapping F10 at boot to enter the Vaio Recovery Utility.
If all else fails then try removing all devices listed under Universal Serial Bus Controllers (in Device Manager), shut down, remove both the power adaptor and battery and then hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Re-attach the power adaptor and battery and reboot. Windows will reinstall the drivers.
