Hi folks - don't know if anyone has any suggestions. Got back yesterday from a trip to the States, where my 4 year old Viao was unable to start. I thought it might have been because I was using an 'ungrounded' adapter plug, so changed it for a 'grounded' one but was still unable to charge it up. Then I realised what I think may have been crucial - I tried charging it up on the plane, but the sockets on the plane didn't accept UK plug, so I asked the stewardess if they had an adapter. She brought along an external charger and plugged it in, and I suspect this has been an 'over-voltage' to the laptop - which I guess is what is now meaning that I can't charge it (and the battery has now run down). Anyone got any ideas on how I can get around this and get the machine working again?
