Have a problem with the screen:
The screen start to flicker very fast and after a few seconds it turns off (picture is still visible, there is just no back light).
I also noticed strange buzzing sound below the screen on the left side (around left hinge).

That looks like the position of the Inverter to me. I wonder if it has not been re-connected properly?
It sounds like your Inverter has gone or the connections to it are faulty.
It will need a repair. The part will cost £32.50 plus postage - look here: -

This will be plus labour unless you are going to try the repair yourself. If you need a copy of the generic A-Series manual, send me your email address by PM.
Thanks for manual
Will replace it myself. Here in Slovenia is no official Vaio service.
Just replace the inverter. After starting computer screen was OK (no flickering) but strange buzzing sound still could be heard. When I changed the resolution to 1440x900 screen start to flicker again and after a few seconds it turns off.
I find out that I need to press with my fingers below screen to stop screen flickering
I attached a picture showing where I need to press
All cables were connected as before, and inverter was placed in the same place as the old one.
I removed the front screen cover and I noticed that buzzing sound is coming from down left corner,
is something wrong with bulb or wiring?
Sent notebook to local repairer yesterday.
They told me that one of the lamps is broken and caused screen to flicker.
Should they replace both lamps or only the broken one?
