Vaio AR series screen problem

I have a vaio VGN-AR11m and i just got this problem of a fat white vertical line on my screen, is there any solution to this problem. My graphic card is A-ok cause the external display shows no such problem and this occured while the computer was on and does not seem to go away. Any help would be extremely appreciated.

Yeah i did and no fat line there, so as i said means the graphic card is ok what about the screen then

do you get the same green line when in safe mode.?

To enter safe mode restart your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo press the F8 key repeatedly..

If so then it suggests asking a local repairer to try an establish the exact cause, it could be a cabling problem or a more expensive replacement screen.. ..
