Sound problem

HI All,

I am having a problem with the sound on my laptop, It seems to work fine when I start up. As soon as I leave it on for a while the sound stops working and I have to re boot. I have not added any soft ware, I have run virus check and all is fine,I did have a windows update latley. Would this effect it.

what model vaio do you have.?

Windows updates have been known to cause problems in the past, can you remember what updates you recently installed.?

Have you can checked for any audio drivers updates for your Vaio via the Sony support download page, use the following link then select your model in the drop down list to download the update: Sony Support Downloads
