I have recently purchased a Sony Vaio VPCYB1S1E/S. My question is what I have to do to add additional 2GB of RAM to the configuration? According to Sony specs it is possible. The laptop is in warranty and I am located in Sofia, Bulgaria. The information in "support.sony-europe.com" is not very clear as there it is offered to submit a repair request and my request is rather under maintenace or service. Who should I call and how should I submit a requst to official Sony Service for such a thing? Appreciate the help.
If you look at Pages 80 to 85 of your User Guide, it shows you how to replace the memory modules yourself. This will not invalidate the warranty: -

You need to buy a 4GB DDR3 SDRAM PC3-8500 memory module and replace the existing 2GB module.
Here is the full specification of the module you need to buy: -

Crucial do ship to Bulgaria using UPS Express Delivery but it will cost you €17 - you may be able to find a module cheaper within Bulgaria.
