Hi
Have got a FZ-21M with a blue ray drive and I'm having trouble playing dvds. On the 'my computer' screen it shows 2 cd drives, one called F which is a BD drive and one called I which is a CD drive. However this is wrong as i only have one disc slot whoch is a BD/DVD/CD combo drive. It never used to show up like this before and since it has started I can no longer play dvds or cds.
I cant find the device drivers anywhere, I've tried uninstalling them both but it just auto installs them back the same way.
Any ideas???
Thanks
Hi sashak87 and welcome to Club Vaio.
What version of WinDVD BD do you have installed? You should have WinDVD BD 8.0.9.429.
There is a firmware update for the BD-Combo Drive UJ-120B version 1.03080107 if you have this model fitted.
I have not heard of two drives appearing in My Computer - are you sure one of them is not a Memory Stick or a SD card drive? I would phone Sony with this problem as it is a new one on me.
Not wishing to be a pessimist but many users here have given up on WinDVD and converted to PowerDVD Ultra to save a lot of hassle.

i've downloaded all the updates i can from the update site. On device manager it comes up with 2 cd drives called:
Matshita BD-CMD UJ-120 ATA device and
WB6230R VGQ381P SCSI CdRom device
the second one sounds like it shouldnt be there.
Any ideas? I'll try giving Sony a call later. Where can i download PowerDVD Ultra from?
Thanks
