I have a 19" external display - which I have used for months without any troubles.
The resolution was accidently set outside the range of the monitor, and so it displayed "Out of Range".
But I booted into safe mode and turned it back down.
However now, its not displaying the correct resolutions for the monitor.
Its showing resolutions that are way out of its range, and the others are all out of aspect for the monitor and look awful.
I have tired the monitor on other computers and it works normally.
I have used the Recovery discs I created when I first got the laptop to restore it to factory settings, but still it
is not showing the correct resolutions for the monitor.
Does anyone know whats going on, and more importantly a way I may be able to fix it?
