Hi DrGeld
Welcome to Club vaio.
If you contact Vaio-Link they will be able to supply a new recovery set but unfortunatly the cost is approximately €70.
Surely Sony can't be charging so much for a Clie installation CD. They don't even make Clie's anymore and probably have a shed full of CD's. I have a TH55, TJ37 and a N770C. I can't sync them all using the TH55 PIM. If Sony would grant permission I would be happy to send a copy of the installation CD to you. If not you might be able to buy a broken Clie with installation CD for very little on ebay.
Thalamus,
I think you'll find that VAIO-Link do not support the Clié, it's Clié-Link who do that, but sadly the European division has closed. The only way to get any help is by hoping someone has one for sale on eBay.
Remember to always backup important CDs for personal use
Ah, sorry my mistake... :smileyd_oh: [:">]
No problem - my post came over a bit hostile looking back, sorry my intentions were not that at all.

Shame we don't have a shake hands icon
wish we could add more smilies to the system, like a VAIO smilie
