You Tube- internet browser will close due to an internal error

Keep on getting this error message
internet browser will close due to an internal error
Also BBC iplayer times out when selecting play.
Can get other internet content like BBC news etc.
Any suggestions? thanks

Hi Quinnicus,

I am using the in-built dedicated apps.

I did a Factory Reset this morning and it was still showing the message when I launched Hulu "internet browser will close due to an internal error."

I restarted the modem and router after that. I will see if it is working after being away at work today. I will keep you posted.

Ive just done a quick Google Search via date/time and it gives me this:

Have a look at the last couple of posts, which is today - it might be a case of an issue at the Hulu end.

Which country are you in @Bonesai - as I might fire an email off to Sony and see if they have any other info.

Ahh, I assumed you was in one of the central/eastern EU countries - as a couple of them have Hulu.  The UK sadly does not.

I can ask if they have had any reports in regards to Hulu in the EU region and whether they have heard anything on the US side of things.  But SonyUK/EU basically has little contact with SonyUS - hence the dialema.

But I will fire that email off anyhow, you never know

I have just received some feedback from Sony - SonyUS and Hulu are aware of an issue, apparently Hulu has changed something on their server side which has caused this.  They are now investigating.

My internet works at home. Hulu still has the error on my TV. But everything else works.

I was trying to see an update here but nothing.
