Problem with sound when I use internet on my TV

I have a sony KDL32520 and I can't get sound through my panasonic home cinema system when I use the internet. HD channels and normal channels are fine, even DVD's and bluray are ok. It's just when I use the internet that I can't get sound. It works fine through my TV speakers, but as I've spent a small fortune on this set up I'd expect it to be working fully.

Please can anyone help?

i have a problem with your question in that you say that HD and standard channels play fine, is this through the home cinema or through the tv? the reason i ask that you should be getting sound from internet as well!,

if your home cinema supports it, i would try a fibre optic connection from the tv to the home cinema, that should give you what you want.
