New BRAVIA Internet Video Service going live next week

Good news...just wrapping up field testing of a new service which should go live across Europe on the evening of Tuesday 8th November. This will be backwardly compatible for both 2010 and 2011 devices ( Blu-ray and BRAVIA). Instructions on how to force refresh content can be found in the BRAVIA FAQ on the front page.

Won't say what yet...:smileywink: but its a good one. I'll drop a clue on Sunday night and then announce it here first on Monday night before the press release goes out on Tuesday.

And I thougfht that it was going to be additional series of 'Rescue Me' etc. like we'd been advised to wait for a year since under the Sony Entertainment BIV channel!

Yes your F500 will get it too don't worry! Basically any device with BRAVIA Internet Video feature - it you can get Youtube and iPlayer etc, you'll get this one.

The launch has been put back a week to the 8th November now as the partners were too quick for us in getting the service ready so we hadn't enough time to get press releases sorted etc. So you'll have to hold on a little longer I'm afraid, but its a good service and sure will be popular when it does go live.
