Purchased this model KDL40HX803 December 2010 ..in the past 6 weeks October 2011 have noticed a breakdown in the sound, itermittent and random blips when either music or scene changes (ie, when going into a an advert) the sound breaks and stutters, so miss sylables from time to time during dialogue/singing. my manufacturers warranty for the year expires on the 5 Dec 2011. is this a problem which needs a warranty claim or can it be rectified by myself? is getting rather annoying now, have tried all the remedial checks, Ie. the HDMi cables checked, a sound reset, a programme re set..owing to the digital switchover..HELP pleeeeease. :smileyconfused:Thanks

have you performed a firmware update on your tv recently if at all?, it may be crying out for an update which may be the solution to your problem.
