After upgrading with new firmware EA1750/SEP'2011 when change program in DTV mode, for 2 seconds there is no signal and the message "NO SIGNAL" on screen appears.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Thanks for reply.I already did it and still the problem exists.I dont't know if other people faces the same problem with this or other model, but I am quiet sure that is a general bug of the new firmware. Sony must correct that with a new one.

Hi,
are you using freeview, if so check signal strength of your aerial, you should find that in set up/digital set up/technical set up then system information, there you will see signal quality and signal level. both of which should be high if not it may be time for a new aeriel.
we may be off the beaten track however, as your question was a little vague,
if the above not helpful perhaps you can give us more detail of the problem.
konstantinos i have the same problem with you. did you solve it anyway?
I have TV 32W5500 and after upgrading to PKG1.750EA i have the same problem.
When i change program I see first black screen with sound for 1 second, next no signal without sound for 2 seconds, next picture with pixels and instant freeze foe 1 second and finally picture and sound OK.
It takes about 4-5 sec to change program.
Signal quality and signal level are excellent.
I tried restore to default settings and re tune but nothing changed.
With previous firmware 1.741 everything was OK!!
Hi,
if its any consolaion i have a Bravia 40BX400 on loan (still!) and this is slow to change channels also, and i have noticed it does this when film is put in the player, i get sound for a couple of seconds before picture!.
its also slow to start up first time turning on, i do not believe much can be done but since some of you say it was fine before updating this leaves more room for debate.
Hi I have the same problem as pavlosp on a KDL-40Z5500. There must be a bug on the upgrade.
Mother company mast check it and fix it/
