I was hoping the software update had fixed it but apparently not! OK 3 out of my 4 HDMI slots are in use. HDMI1 is used with my sky box..........HDMI2 is for my PS3 and HDMI3 is the blu-ray player (it's a samsung BD-C5300 I think) I switch the blu-ray player on and it goes on OK.......can stick a film in and my problem begin. The actual films keep like cutting off i.e. screen goes black........briefly see a bit of the movie before we go black again and keeps happening. It's as if the TV is trying to find the correct colour setting but can't quite get there. Something I am doing wrong?
Just to add I don't have this problem with my Sky HD or my PS3
Hi,
try swapping the HDMI ports over see if the problem is the same if it is its most probably the player, why dont you use the PS3 to play your movies?, be much better than the Samsung.
Good idea. Didn't think of doing that. I'll give it a try and see. I like the fact that the samsung has more internet facilities and stuff like playjam which you can't get on the PS3 and half the time that's in use playing either fifa or PES. Only since I got the TV that it's started happening funny enough as I never had the problem before with the old samsung TV
