BDV N7200W
My N7200W system has frozen. Is stuck on 'BD/DVD'. I've tried resetting it (play/eject at the same time), but it does nothing.
I'm assuming this happened in the last week or so (I don't use it very often) and may be related to the latest firmware which was released a couple of weeks ago.
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

Hi webbymtb,
Welcome to the Community. I'm not too sure why it has frozen - perhaps you could get in touch with Sony Support about this.
Thanks,
Pascale

Hi,
I did get in contact with Sony Support, they gave me number of a shop to call. Quite useless, seeing as the shop is closed.
I'm now have a £470 paper weight.

It's stuck on 'repeat play', if that helps?
Remote is still responsive, as are the function keys on the unit itself, but they don't do anything, if that makes sense?

Hi Webbymtb,
If you couldn't reset it then it needs physical inspection. I found a link for locating service cenres on Sony's website: https://bit.ly/2LRUI7u

Advising people to go to a service centre, while in lockdown?! Yeah, great idea.

I agree with The_Black_Rose, this would be for the best. But I believe you won't be able to get it inspected right now even if you wanted to since most service centres are closed for your safety (and of course, due to lockdown) but even if you manage to get in touch, maybe just tough it out for a bit. It's getting dangerous at the minute. Stay safe people!

Hi Rose,
I disconnected the AC power cord according to the manual and connected again but it did not help. Is there any other way to reset? I mean I almost went throw the hole manual
Cheers
