Hi to all. Want to proceed purchasing a a6000 or a5100 model. Use the a700 model now and want to upgade. Want to use my A-mount lens (sony 300mm, sony 200mm, sony 70mm and a sigma 40mm). So cjhecked for the a-mount converter. However saw 2 models and I am not sure about the differences. Assume that both are compatible with the a6000 or a5100. Thanks in advance. Apostolos

Yes both mount adapters are compatible with an a6000 or a5100.
It seems like the biggest difference between the LA-EA3 and LA-EA4 is
that the LA-EA4 adds phase detect autofocus via a translucent mirror.
There is a note here though that says:
- Because the LA-EA3 and LA-EA4 support 35mm full-frame sensors, the light passage on these adapters is larger than the LA-EA1 and LA-EA2, which causes vignetting.
