Otg cable with card reader....

I want to connect a card reader with a memory card from my camera to my Xperia E3 Dual...will it read? I had tried with a very simple card reader which I think was the fault of Card reader that it didn't read it....but can I really do that?

It depend on whether or not the phone can produce enough power to power the card reader and the also the length of the OTG cable - there are many factors to consider

Sorry I can't as I don't use external card readers - My Pc has a card reader but I have just tested a Micro SD to USB which worked
