Upload in HD quality from HDR-H5E to iMac: which cable?
I have been using my HDR H5E for some time now and made some pretty HD-video tapes. So I want to edit these now and try to upload them to my iMac; but, there is no cable supplied with the camcorder that seems to do the trick. My iMac does have a FireWire400 port. What cable should I get to make it work in HD?
Thanks for any sound suggestions!

You need a USB cable to upload HD Video to iMovie - I thought one was supplied with your camera but they are very cheap to buy: -
There is a Tutorial on the Sony support site here: -

You could go to Apple store and buy a 6-pin to 9-pin FireWire Adapter.
Connects FireWire 400 devices to FireWire 800 ports.
That is what i use on my Mac Computer.
