Can not register my BRAVIA Tv KD-49XG8305

The model number of my new TV is not recognised and it is impossible to get make any headway.  Why can’t Sony identify the TV which I bought at a John Lewis store?  It was delivered on 22 February 2020.

Try without the "-"... For example: KD49XG8305

I HAVE EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM - SONY DOESN'T RECOGNISE ANY COMBINATION FOR THE KD-49XG8305. SO I CAN'T REGISTER OR HAVE TO REGISTER UNDER A DIFFERENT MODEL NUMBER!

This could be the reason. Anyway registering it doesn't add up anything to your tv...
