When I click on the turn on data button it shows that it's on, but when I try to open a page or search something on the Internet it says that I don't have an Internet connection.
Did you download or receive by sms the internet settings from your carrier? Try this: settings > wireless & networks > more > internet settings (download settings) and see if it helps.
