Unable to Register Sony Walkman

I recently purchased a NWZ-A840, I have tried to register it and I keep getting the message 'Product not recognised by website' or someting similar. I have tried to send an email to Sony but they say I don't have an account. Has anyone any ideas please?:smileyconfused:

It looks like the only valid Walkman products are: -

NWZ-A844

NWZ-A845

NWZ-A846

NWZ-A847

Perhaps NWZ-A840 is a generic classification for this group. Have a look at the box and documentation - if it is 16GB then it is probably the NWZ-A845.  Is this your model?
