I own an fz11z, which is plagued with the Nvidia card fault.
After 3 repairs, i called Sony before the third repair, and they said they would give me a REPLACEMENT laptop.
So i handed the laptop over.
Turns out they repaired, and sent it back.
The Repair centre, were RUDE, saying "dont worry it wont break" even though its a MANUFACTURING FAULT! and now they refuse to return my calls!
I contacted just about everybody from Sony Vaio all the way upto Koji Muzuno, and NOT A SINGLE EMAIL, CALL or anything!
So i am warning others, to becareful of this cowboy attitude of Sony's.
