Vista Home Basic

I know this is not Vaio issue but I am a Vaio VGNN21M owner. I have another tower computer I am running on Windows XP and I am trying to update to Vista Home Basic but th CD fails to load.
I have tried to change BIOS settings to read CD as first choice but this does not work, can any of our exports help me out wioth a solution,gratefull for any help. Carl

Does the desktop computer have a SATA hard drive?

Hi Thalamus nice to hear from you, I run the Vista prog you suggested it says not enough memory. I do not understand this memory available 66.36 GB Free Out of 74.52GB Capacity available. CPU Intel r Celeron r CPU 2.66 GHZ if this inf helps?? Car:l
