Vaio TX2 Headphone volume

We have three TX2's in the office and they all have very low headphone volume. Watching a DVD on a train or 'plane is almost impossible. I have all of the volume controls on max. I assume this is a Sony 'protect your ears' thing. Any ideas how this can me overcome ?

Welcome to the forum,
Mmm this is an issue which has become prevelent lately. Reinstalling the drivers has not corrected the problem for others so all I can suggest is download BS Player. It has a pre amp in it's audio devices that will boost the volume for you (hopefully). It also may be an AC3 codec problem with the particular DVD's you have tried so download this codec packhere BS Player is a must though
