Touch pad problem...

Hi, I am here with a question that I couldn't find any answer yet... the thing is sometimes I loose the control of my mouse or touch pad for some time then it coming back to normal.It may be not a big deal but it is supper uncomfortal when you are doing something...hope some one can help me out here.

Hi there,

When you loose the touchpad, have you tried plugging an external USB mouse to the laptop? Try this and see if it works.

If it does, its either going to be a driver problem or a hardware problem I would have thought. Have a look on the Sony website if there are any drivers for your touchpad, if so re-install them. If there is no luck after this, I would have thought it may be your touchpad unfortunatly which would require changing. If it is less than a year old, it may be covered under warranty by Sony.

I got the same problem, and basically plugging a mouse seams to work better but while I am writing the arrow flies everywhere and the text starts somewhere else every second.

 

any advices will be appreciated.
