hi all.
i am having persistant shutdown problems with my vaio laptop, on startup the fan switches on, then off again, it doesnt restart after initial boot up, after a while the machine overheats and shuts down on its own. i am wondering if this is a fan fault or the cpu ? i have run the laptop sat on an ice pack and it ran fine. any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance, ,,,paul.
